I know it's been a slow year on the blog - who would have thought motherhood would slow me down? But I have two beautiful weeks of holidays, which means two glorious weeks of full time co-parenting. So who knows, maybe I'll find time to get out my camera; maybe even make something! In the meantime: merry chrimbo, everyone!

bonfire madeleines
Whip up three eggs, half a cup sugar and the grated rind of a lime and a lemon until creamy. Fold in three quarters of a cup of plain flour, a third of a teaspoon of baking powder and 60 grams melted butter. Spoon into greased Madeleine tray and bake at 200 degrees until golden (about 15 minutes).

Lady Marmalade
Mum and I made marmalade. I can't believe it's been a whole year since the seville's were last in season. Oh my. Of course, this year we had an additional assistant.
